It appears that they do to a certain degree, they just don't realize it. In a Harvard University study, amnesiacs reported dreaming about playing the block-stacking videogame Tetris the day after playing it. Because they were amnesiacs, they had no waking memory of playing the game in real life, even though they'd dreamed about it.
