  1. From the strictest definition, technology refers to the practical application of knowledge or to using technical processes to accomplish a task. That means we wouldn't say that there's such a thing as natural nanotechnology. But that doesn't mean there aren't natural elements at the nanoscale. And some of those elements may come in very handy in nanotechnology applications.
