Depending on the type of solar cooker you use, you can generate temperatures ranging from 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) up tomore than 400 degrees F (204 degrees C). Not only is this more than hot enough to boil water, killing microorganisms that could make it unsafe to drink, it can also be used to fry a meal.
