  1. An oxygen facial is a skin treatment in which an airbrush is used to make your skin more plump, thereby reducing visible wrinkles and possibly increasing collagen production. Your skin gets a boost of hyperbaric oxygen, anti-aging serum, moisturizer, vitamins and antioxidants to clear the face. Some people say the treatment is good for makeup application, since it gives you a smoother surface to work with. An oxygen facial may also treat acne and rosacea, but dermatologists have yet to give it their stamp of approval.

There are some doctors who think an oxygen facial is beneficial, and celebrities are also big fans, yet other medical professionals think they just irritate the skin and that is what makes it swell or become plump.

Oxygen facials also don't last that long; for the first six weeks, you need to get a new treatment once a week. After that, once a month is supposed to be enough to maintain your wrinkle-free look. The price of a single oxygen facial treatment typically runs from $150 to $300, which means you could easily rack up a $5,000 bill by the end of one year. On the other hand, you could try home oxygen facial kits; they cost about $100 each. However, some pros say the at-home kits don't yield the same results as spa facials.
