There are four kinds of nerves:
- Cranial nerves connect your mouth, ears, eyes and nose (your sense organs) to your brain.
- Central nerves connect your brain to your spinal cord.
- Peripheral nerves connect your limbs to your spinal cord.
- Autonomic nerves connect your spinal cord and brain to the rest of your organs.
