It's possible nanotechnology could pose other threats. Substances on the nanoscale often exhibit strange properties. Materials that are harmless to us may have toxic properties when reduced to nanoparticles. Even the shape of the nanoparticle can affect its toxicity. We must be careful when exploring the world at the nanoscale. Only after extensive testing should we incorporate nanoparticles into products.
