How do you install PowerPacket power-line networking systems?

  1. The first physical PowerPacket device used for the installation connects with a USB or Ethernet cord directly from the computer to a small wall adapter. Other devices for the other computers being networked have circuitry within, so they connect with only a power cord. After you make the physical connections, you install software that automatically finds all the computers and their devices on the network, and then they are ready to go.
