Imagine that you've got a job that requires you to access a building using a biometric system. Now imagine that you suffer some sort of injury or contract an illness that alters your appearance in some way. Suddenly you're prevented from accessing the building because the biometric system no longer recognizes you. In order to fix that problem, you'll have to have someone adjust the system so that it now can identify you based on your new features. That means you have to share more information about yourself -- namely, your health status.
