  1. With a wired network, the user has more security and can move large amounts of data at a time. Wire-based networks, like Ethernet or broadband, are generally faster than wireless networks. However, if your computers are far apart, Ethernet cable can be expensive. Also, your mobility will be limited if your laptop computer needs to remain connected to a cable in the wall.
