Yahoo Mobile Messenger allows you to use Yahoo Messenger when you are away from your personal computer. You can access your Messenger list from your cell phone and send and receive your Instant Messages as text messages.
Before you can use Yahoo Mobile Messenger on your mobile device, you must register it with Yahoo. You then add your phone number and forward your messages to your phone. At that point you can begin using your mobile device to enjoy Yahoo Messenger. A phone icon will let others know that you are mobile.
